BC Cancer Foundation

WORK OUT TO CONQUER CANCER

BC Cancer Foundation is the fundraising partner of BC Cancer, raising funds to advance research and care, and making a significant difference in the lives of British Columbians facing cancer.

We partnered with BC Cancer Foundation to tell a story of strength and resilience. The 2020 Workout to Conquer Cancer was created as an online campaign to inspire British Columbians to move together towards a future without cancer.

Covenant House Vancouver

KEYOSHA’S STORY

Covenant House provides love and hope to Vancouver's homeless and at-risk youth who have fled abuse, been forced from their homes, or have aged out of foster care.

Britney Berrner Creative teamed up with Covenant House to tell the story of former resident, Keyosha, who reclaimed her life with the support of Covenant House’s relationships and programs. This profile is used on the Covenant House website to draw attention to the Covenant House programs and services and to inspire donations.

Vancity and ISS of BC

Vancouver City Savings Credit Union and Immigrant Services Society of BC came together to offer wrap-around support for newcomers and refugees where they live and are already receiving support.

In a story of listening, collaboration and care, we meet the Othman’s, a newcomer family accessing Vancity and ISS of BC services. We made this video to inspire other service providers to come together and create innovative ways to meet the needs of underserved and often marginalized communities.

Vancouver Island Health

Island Health provides health care services to over 794,000 people on Vancouver Island, the islands in the Salish Sea and the Johnstone Strait, and the mainland communities north of Powell River and south of Rivers Inlet.

Working with Island Health, we bring you this candid story of the brave nurses and doctors working in emergency and ICU care across Vancouver Island. This minidoc was used at the Vancouver Island Emergency and Critical Care Conference in June 2019 to inspire caregivers to continue their work with a spark of fresh inspiration and pride.

Mission Possible

Britney Berrner Creative and MP present a story of hope and transformation, as told through Chris Reed’s renewed sense of dignity and purpose through working with MP. This piece was created as a fundraising video for MP’s annual gala.

The Happening

The Happening is a dance studio located in Vancouver, BC, run by Kim Stevenson. At The Happening, dancers of all ages receive a broad education and experience acceptance, confidence and discipline as byproducts of excellent dance.

We teamed up with The Happening to capture the sense of belonging that young dancers feel as members of this studio. This promo video showcased a wide range of students, each with their own personal style, to recruit new students to join a community where all is for dance and dance is for all.
